![]() Many countries have their own national warning alarm tone standards for fire alarms, evacuation and similar emergencies. The web pages below list the tones available for each electronic alarm sounder we offer together with a description. For most alarm sounders selecting the required tone is easy, simply set the sound select switches inside the sounder to the positions shown on the tone table. The majority of alarm sounders have 2 stage alarms to provide 2 distinct sounds, for example to signal ‘emergency’ then ‘all clear’. Sometimes 3 distinct signals are required, for 3-stage alarm sounders, select sounders with part numbers beginning with ‘A’, ‘B’. or ‘M’ e.g. A105. If you cannot find the tone you are looking for, or you require a unique tone please contact us and we will do our best to help you. Below is a brief summary of the terms used to describle various types of tones. |
